Women's health in peri and post-menopause, bone health, muscle strength and body composition, cardiorespiratory fitness, metabolic health and diabetes, healthy ageing, quality of life in midlife - older women. I am also particularly interested helping those with Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
Hi, I’m Jo Jacobs, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (BClinExPhys, AEP) based in Mareeba, Far North Queensland.
I specialise in menopause and women’s health in midlife, alongside neurological conditions, metabolic disease, and working with NDIS participants from all walks of life. My approach is deeply personal: I draw on your interests, goals, and lived experience to build an exercise program that genuinely feels like your own.
I’m passionate about midlife women because I’m living this chapter too. I know what it feels like to want to reclaim your spark, protect your bones and muscles, and feel strong and capable on your own terms. With the right exercise prescription, that’s entirely possible.
What I love most about my work is witnessing real, measurable progress and helping clients see just how far they’ve come. When movement becomes meaningful, it becomes sustainable. That’s where the real magic happens.
Let me help you move, feel, and live at your best.
