Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the MenoConnect Directory, operated by WellFemme Pty Ltd (“WellFemme”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the Directory, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About the MenoConnect Directory

The Directory is an online resource designed to assist users locate healthcare practitioners, allied health professionals, and wellness providers with demonstrated interest and experience in supporting midlife, perimenopausal, and menopausal women.

Providers listed within the Directory may offer:

• in-person services,
• telehealth consultations,
• educational services,
• health coaching,
• allied health services,
• or other health and wellbeing support services.

Some providers may also provide services in collaboration with WellFemme, including:

• administrative support,
• appointment facilitation,
• booking services,
• co-promoted programs,
• or other support arrangements.

The Directory is intended solely as an informational and referral resource.

2. Provider Selection and Inclusion Criteria

WellFemme undertakes a screening and review process before including providers within the Directory.

Depending on the provider type, this process may include:

• review of professional qualifications,
• confirmation of current professional registration where applicable,
• review of relevant experience, education or stated clinical interests,
• assessment of information supplied by the provider,
• and consideration of professional references or peer feedback.

For medical practitioners and other registered health professionals, WellFemme may verify current registration status through publicly available regulatory registers at the time of onboarding.

Providers included in the Directory are selected based on WellFemme’s internal inclusion criteria at the time of listing.

However, inclusion in the Directory does not constitute:

• a guarantee of clinical quality, outcomes or patient experience,
• an assurance of ongoing competency or suitability,
• or a representation that a provider is appropriate for every individual circumstance.

Healthcare outcomes vary between individuals, and users should exercise their own judgment when selecting a provider.

3. Independent Clinical Responsibility

Each provider listed within the Directory remains independently responsible for:

• their own professional services,
• clinical judgment and decision-making,
• patient care,
• prescribing,
• documentation,
• regulatory compliance,
• informed consent processes,
• privacy obligations,
• and professional indemnity insurance.

WellFemme does not supervise or control the independent clinical practice of listed providers and is not responsible for the medical advice, treatment or healthcare services they provide.

Where WellFemme facilitates bookings, administration, marketing or payment processing on behalf of a provider, those services are administrative only and do not create a partnership, employment or treating relationship between WellFemme and the provider unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. No Medical Advice

Information contained within the Directory, including provider profiles, qualifications, areas of interest, articles, resources or linked materials, is general information only and does not constitute medical advice.

Users should not:

• disregard professional medical advice,
• delay seeking healthcare,
• commence or cease treatment,
• or make healthcare decisions solely based on information contained within the Directory.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services or seek urgent medical care immediately.

5. No Guarantee of Outcomes

While WellFemme aims to include providers with relevant experience and interest in menopause and midlife women’s health, WellFemme cannot guarantee:

• healthcare outcomes,
• treatment effectiveness,
• patient satisfaction,
• continuity of care,
• provider availability,
• or the completeness or ongoing accuracy of all provider information.

Users acknowledge that healthcare services inherently involve variability, individual clinical judgment and differing patient responses.

6. Clinical Information Disclaimer

The inclusion of a provider within the Directory indicates that WellFemme has assessed the provider against its internal inclusion criteria at the time of listing.

However:

• WellFemme does not provide guarantees regarding future conduct, performance or patient outcomes,
• does not continuously monitor every aspect of a provider’s clinical practice,
• and cannot guarantee that every user will have the same experience or outcome.

Clinical care remains the responsibility of the treating practitioner.

7. Regulatory and Professional Compliance

Providers are responsible for ensuring they comply with all applicable:

• professional standards,
• registration requirements,
• advertising obligations,
• prescribing requirements,
• privacy obligations,
• and laws governing their profession.

WellFemme may remove, suspend or decline a provider listing at its discretion, including where concerns arise regarding:

• professional conduct,
• registration status,
• complaints,
• regulatory compliance,
• or appropriateness for inclusion in the Directory.

8. User Responsibility

Users acknowledge and agree that they are responsible for:

• assessing whether a provider is suitable for their needs,
• making their own healthcare decisions,
• verifying matters relevant to their care where appropriate,
• and obtaining independent medical advice when required.

Use of the Directory does not replace consultation with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

9. Provider Information and Listings

Providers are responsible for ensuring the information supplied for their listing is accurate, up to date, and not misleading.

WellFemme may:

• edit listings for formatting, clarity or consistency,
• remove outdated or incomplete information,
• modify Directory categories,
• suspend or remove listings,
• or change the Directory functionality at any time without notice.

10. Future Paid Listings and Promotions

The Directory is currently free for users.

WellFemme reserves the right to introduce:

• paid provider listings,
• sponsored placements,
• featured listings,
• advertising,
• premium profile options,
• referral arrangements,
• or other commercial services in the future.

Commercial arrangements do not constitute guarantees of clinical quality or outcomes.

Sponsored or promoted content may be identified accordingly.

11. Third Party Websites and Booking Systems

The Directory may contain links to external websites, booking systems or third-party services.

WellFemme is not responsible for:

• third-party website content,
• booking systems,
• privacy practices,
• availability of services,
• or information contained on external websites.

Users access third-party services at their own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WellFemme excludes liability for:

• clinical care provided by independent practitioners,
• treatment outcomes,
• acts or omissions of listed providers,
• provider negligence,
• delays, cancellations or provider unavailability,
• disputes between users and providers,
• or reliance on Directory information.

Where WellFemme provides administrative support or booking facilitation for a provider, WellFemme’s role is limited to those administrative services unless expressly stated otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.

13. Intellectual Property

All Directory branding, logos, text, graphics, layout and website content remain the property of WellFemme unless otherwise stated.

Users may not reproduce, distribute or commercially use Directory content without prior written permission.

Providers retain ownership of their submitted materials but grant WellFemme a non-exclusive licence to display and use listing content within the Directory and related promotional activities.

14. Privacy

The MenoConnect Privacy Policy also governs use of the Directory.

15. Changes to These Terms

WellFemme may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time without notice.

Continued use of the Directory following publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Any disputes arising from the Directory shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
